On June 5–6, 2025, representatives of the Czech side of the Crossborder Startup Point project took part in an exchange visit at the tech2b incubator in Linz.
The aim of the visit was to gain insights into the Austrian acceleration environment and gather inspiration for the practical implementation of the startup support methodology.
The visit was part of the kick-off meeting for the Activate Journey program, which includes eight innovative startup teams. The Czech team had the opportunity to experience the program firsthand and observe how tech2b supports young entrepreneurs—not only in business development but also in personal and team growth.
During the two intensive days, participants attended interactive workshops and lectures focused on key topics such as marketing strategy, financial planning, sustainability, customer engagement, team dynamics, and mental health. The startups put the content into practice immediately, and it was inspiring to watch their rapid progress and high level of engagement.
A powerful moment was witnessing the tech2b mentors and experts in action. Their professional, empathetic, and well-structured approach serves as a great example of effective early-stage business support. The tech2b team managed to create a safe and motivating environment in which startups can grow, share their challenges, and search for sustainable solutions.
The Startup Point managers from the Czech Republic are returning home with a wealth of practical insights to apply in building and delivering activities within the Czech Startup Point. The visit confirmed the immense value of cross-border experience sharing—not only for enhancing the quality of startup support but also for fostering mutual understanding and inspirational collaboration among partners.
Many thanks to tech2b for the warm welcome and for a valuable experience that has moved us a step forward!
